Following the repeated requests of some friends (thank you guys, it feels great that you also care to know what's going on with me), I will publish most of my posts in English and Hungarian. To keep it interesting for those people that speak both, I will also carefully hide some minor differences;)
So, to business... I do
realize that I have been idle for a long time. The reason is simple: I was
sidelined with a sickness. Nothing too serious, just a throat+sinus infection,
but it lasted for 1,5 weeks and really sucked; especially since I had to go
through it alone. The calls and chats with my friends, family and my beloved
were the only things that kept my spirits up.
I
recovered about a week ago and since then focused on survival and catching up, which
actually worked! It also helped that I took a full day off for the first time
since I arrived in Lincoln:
I did some halves before, but came to realize that there is a HUGE difference
between working 2 hours a day and none…
In
addition to all these, I started discovering my ‘new’ environment. Every
weekend I try to spend a few hours cruising around on my bike and getting to
places with a relative low frequency of people… it is, of course, impossible to
get anywhere far from Lincoln without a car, but at least I am trying to find
some supplementary solutions (I also finally bought a memory card and will
upload some pics in the not-too-distant future;))
All in
all, I can say that my life in Lincoln
seems to have found its normal rhythm and pace, something on which I will
elaborate more in my next post. In the meantime, keep rocking, everyone, and
don’t forget your Hungarian bastardo!;)
Now I'm interested what the differences will be. *mutters about not speaking Hungarian*
ReplyDeleteGood to see posts in English, looking forward to the future ones! =)
