Hi all,
I know it’s been a while but I realized recently that the initial reasons
why I started writing this blog are still valid: this is the best way to let everyone
who cares know the basics about my (now really our) life. Here is the first
bunch.
It was a long and eventful summer. We spent most of it in our home
countries (which already means 5 cities at least) and managed to squeeze in a
trip to Ireland and the UK. The Highlands were the Highlight (hehe) but we also
enjoyed Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin and the rest. Also packed in a few cool
trips with friends, family unions… and work. And finally, we capped it all off
with a great trip to New Jersey/New York.
Overall, it was a good time but we were always kind of guests. Which is
why I’m especially happy to report that we have our new home! It’s an awesome
apartment in downtown Lincoln. By now it really looks like a true Feher-Gavra
(which is my official name, btw, as another tangible result of this summer)
residence. The time has come to settle in to a good rhythm and be productive.
Which, in my case, will mean preparing to teach my new class and to take my comprehensive
exams.
Take care, see our pictures on FB if you are interested and feel free to
contact me for details or if you just want to talk.
